There are so many children who are not getting the proper food. A group of women saw that and they thought, they can collect food grains from farmers and in turn they will distribute in the slums. So that at least these children can have food, for this movement they named “ANNAPURNA ANDOLAN”. It has been continuously going on since from 1992, thousands of children were getting food.

In 1994 the ANNAPURNA ASSOCIATION registered bearing its Registration No. 184/94-95 dated 21.09.1994. Since from 1994, organization is mainly concentrating on slums. Organization is giving awareness regarding education, health, cleanliness and culture.
